As a counsellor in the UK, I understand the impact that anxiety can have on your life. Understanding what anxiety is & why it happens is the key 1st step in being able to manage it effectively.

The first part of the journal explores what anxiety is & how CBT can be a powerful tool in saying goodbye to anxiety.

We then move on to some tried & tested CBT activities that are frequently used in therapy. These will help you to explore your thoughts & beliefs & learn techniques to challenge any unhelpful ones that may be holding you back.

There are also some grounding & distraction techniques included which are brilliant ways in which you can manage anxiety on the go!

The journal includes 12 weeks of daily pages (these are the same to allow for consistency in monitoring your experience of anxiety).

There are 30 pages of guided prompts to allow you to explore even deeper with 7 unprompted pages where you can write freely.

How Will This Journal Help Me?

The Calm Mind Anxiety Journal is designed to help you understand the root of your anxiety. It explores what happens when we experience anxiety, and provides some CBT-Based activities that I use with my own clients in therapy.

Bringing awareness to anxiety & gaining a clear understanding of why it's happening is the first step in being able to effectively manage anxiety in your day to day life.

The 12-week guided journal pages provide you with the space to pay close attention to the things that may trigger your anxiety response. It allows you to build up a picture over 3 months of these things & identify any patterns that you might not see just yet.

It enables you to take a moment at the start & end of the day to consider how you're feeling & what you can do to make the changes you want.

Anxiety can be so debilitating, often stopping you from living life how you truly want to. This anxiety journal is not a replacement for therapy, but it's a useful tool for you to gain this awareness. If we don't know why something is happening, it's much harder to change it.
