The Gratitude Journal
The Daily Calm Gratitude Journal – Learn how to start & end your day the right kind of way with this daily guided gratitude journal.
What is a Gratitude Journal?
Gratitude helps to promote self care, motivation and self discovery. It can help you remain focused but balanced when you're working towards goals, and this gratitude journal gives you the chance to set your intentions & approach your day how you want to.
Taking a few minutes to reflect on the positives you experienced each day encourages you to become more present – even when you're busy!
Gratitude helps you tune into your positive emotions, helping you to feel happier, which helps to improve your overall mood & wellbeing.

Why Start a Gratitude Journal?
A personal note… The Gratitude Journal is my newest addition & one I am very excited to launch. Gratitude has helped me move through some tricky times over the years. At first I didn't understand why developing a gratitude practice would be helpful – until I tried it myself!
If you're dealing with personal stuff at the moment, or you're struggling with your mental health and find it difficult to feel enthusiasm or joy, it can feel like happiness is an impossible dream for you.
There have been many times when I've wished things were different to the extent that I became resentful of my current life and situation. This was especially true when I developed ME/CFS in 2011.
Learning to find acceptance of life as it is right now, but still want more, and to have dreams and goals for better things was a huge point of change for me, and helped me re-find joy in the moment.
Yes, I still have things that I want to change, and there are many things that I don't yet have, but what gratitude has helped me do is to still feel gratitude and appreciation for everything that I already have right now.
When I work with clients who manage ME/CFS as a counsellor, acceptance of what is, has always been the main turning point in their emotional wellbeing.
Once I found it easier to feel gratitude for what I have now – my mental health improved significantly, which improved my focus and outlook on life and my work. My motivation is good and because of this I'm doing what I do today!
Gratitude isn't another form of toxic positivity where you ignore your problems or stifle all of your feelings – it's a way for you to acknowledge that amongst the difficult times, there are things that you can feel appreciation for.
Part of the daily prompts page gives space for you to acknowledge your feelings and set your intentions for the day – whether that's a task to do for work or to take some time out for yourself, it's just about taking a few moments of calm to check in with how you are & how you want to feel that day.
